TRON: Legacy (2010)

125 min, action, adventure, sci-fi

Director: Joseph Kosinski
Writers: Edward Kitsis (screenplay), Adam Horowitz(screenplay)

Storyline:
Sam Flynn (Hedlund), a rebellious 27-year-old, is haunted by the mysterious disappearance of his father Kevin Flynn (Bridges), a man once known as the world's leading video-game developer. When Sam investigates a strange signal sent from the old Flynn's Arcade -- a signal that could only come from his father-- he finds himself pulled into a digital world where Kevin has been trapped for 20 years. With the help of the fearless warrior Quorra (Wilde), father and son embark on a life-or-death journey across a cyber universe -- a universe created by Kevin himself that has become far more advanced with vehicles, weapons, landscapes and a ruthless villain who will stop at nothing to prevent their escape.

Review:
If you ever wondered what it would be like if people could enter a digital world this is a film you must see. Visually it is just amazing: the way programs disintegrate when they're disposed of, the light cycle battles, airborne chases...is just a small example of the special effects you can see in ˝TRON: Legacy˝. All of that is enough to like this movie, despite the story. Which is not memorable and at some points slow and a bit boring. There is also one thing I really hated about ˝TRON˝. And that is that Jeff Bridges uses the word "man" at the end of every sentence, which is kinda annoying. Also him saying things like "Check this out," or "Radical, man," is not something a man living in a digital world would be saying. But when you start watching the movie you will simply ignore the story, the dialogs... and will enjoy in the digital world as you have never seen before.
By the way watch "TRON"(1982) first!!
